Cool
ReplyDeleteAs someone a bit interested in neo scholasticism, I sure hope it was not actually involved in shaping the, er, main events of the twentieth century
ReplyDeleteFunny enough, I remember Brian Besong giving a similar review of your Scholastic Metaphysics book, only that you say this one doesn't go into the arguments enough and he said yours doesn't go into the history enough. Seems like a good pairing!
ReplyDeleteGreat review. Coincidentally enough, I am in the middle of a second-time read through of Garrigou-Lagrange's "Reality: A Synthesis of Thomistic Thought". I just received my copy of a book entitled "Aristotle's Revenge", by some guy named Feser. I will be diving into that, shortly. :)
