Readers in the vicinity of Spokane, WA might be interested to know that I will be speaking on February 15 and 16 at the Faith and Reason Institute at Gonzaga University. The lectures will be based on themes from The Last Superstition. Details can be found here.
Will a copy of the speech be made available afterwards?
ReplyDeleteIndeed it'd be awesome if you'd made a video or mp3 file put of it :)
ReplyDeleteIf sold I'd buy it. If free even better......BTW did I mention to quote Uncle Fester from ADAMS' FAMILY VALUES, "I'd pay!"?
ReplyDeleteDear Feser here is some flagrant, flattery. I just listened to your interview. You have a really nice voice if you don't mind my saying so, and you are just as lucid in your speech as you are in your writing. BTW, TLS is a great book, I thoroughly enjoyed it. I have subsequently bought all your books bar the companion, and I recommend them whenever people ask me for advice on Aquinas, philosophy of mind and so on. Working in an academic library here in the UK I hope I am doing a little bit of good! (Not to mention boasting your reputation)
ReplyDeleteYo Feser!!!
ReplyDeleteCome to Marquette University instead.
Blast blast blast. I will be on retreat. I picked a good time to go out of town, didn't I? I second the request for video or, at least, audio of the talk.
ReplyDeletenothing to do w/posted subject, but I had the experience last night to fall asleep in bed while listening to a lecture by Prof. Feser on Austrian & Catholic economics..
ReplyDeleteI just got a new SOny TV which has internet on it. I sat it at the bottom of my bed.
